Our guest speaker is Lee Anderson MP, who was elected as the Conservative Member of Parliament for Ashfield in 2019. Coming from a family of coal miners, Lee worked in the mines in Nottinghamshire for 10 years. 
 
Having been a lifelong Labour Party member, and a Labour district councillor, Lee joined the Conservative Party in early 2018 and now happily serves the people of Ashfield as the Conservative MP, planning to create a level playing field for local people, and to ensure that everyone has the opportunity they need in life to prosper. 
 
A very interesting political journey, and not an event to be missed! 

The invitation is open to members and non-members. The lunch is priced at £30 for 3-courses. The afternoon will also include a raffle and auction.
