Havant Conservative Association is pleased to announce that Adam Christie has been selected to stand as the Conservative Candidate for Purbrook in the 2018 local elections.
Adam is a Purbrook resident and currently works in the private sector. He has experience of both working for himself and being part of a large global company.
Adam as large shoes to fill as he aims to be the successor to much respected Cllr Gwen Blackett who has decided to stand down after 45 years of representing the residents of Purbrook.
Adam's priorities include:
- Understand from you any issues affecting our area and be your voice into the council, seeking a response and action where appropriate.
- Continue to ensure council transparency, accountability & common sense in all local decisions.
- Ensure Purbrook’s concerns are heard; whether that’s funding for services, environmental improvements, or local planning - including the west of Waterlooville and Campdown developments.
- Be aware of what is happening on our streets by liaising and working with the police.
- Interact with the schools in our area to encourage their involvement in local community projects.
- Build relationships with local businesses and encourage our residents to support them.
- Engage with our MP & work with him to represent our interests
